For 400 years since the Azuchi-Momoyama period when our predecessor, Zenkichi Hinaya Kuwabara Shoten, was founded, we have been operating with the high confidence of our customers in the construction industry, commerce and economy in Gifu.
We believe it is our mission to live up to this long-standing trust and high expectation of quality.
Extensive Construction Experience
We are engaged in a wide range of new construction and repair work for residences, medical facilities, educational facilities, and public facilities, mainly in Gifu and Aichi prefectures. We are able to handle a variety of structures, including wood, reinforced concrete, and steel.
Craftsmanship
Our highly experienced and precise carpenters and other highly skilled craftsmen. Our construction managers, who have experience in a variety of construction sites, take pride in their skills and quality.
Lumber Expert
We are particular about the lumber we use, having originated in the lumber business during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, taking advantage of the clear Nagara River's water transportation system. We also specialize in hand-carving by carpenters and difficult repair work such as carving and fitting old wooden structures on the spot.
History
Founded in the Azuchi-Momoyama period (1568-1600) at Rakuichi Rakuza in Gifu Castle.
Since the company trades in products from the capital of Kyoto, it displays Hina dolls in its storefront and changes its name to Hinaya Kuwabara Zenkichi Shoten.
Due to the convenience of the water transportation of the Nagara River, the company trades in lumber and undertakes construction using the lumber.
Since its establishment, the company has continued its steady business.
In 1947, the construction contracting division of Hinaya Kuwabara Zenkichi Shoten was spun off as an independent company, Hinaya Construction Co.
